JONESBORO, Ark. – If you frequented the 400-block of Richmond Avenue this week, you may have seen something useful to Jonesboro police.
A report was made just after 8 a.m. Thursday stating an entire central heat and air unit had been stolen from a residence on Richmond sometime this week. It was believed stolen between 3 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday morning.
The pad the unit on was empty, with wires and a freon line cut and the unit lifted directly from where it had rested.
With the unit valued at several thousand dollars, the theft charge would be a felony for the criminal responsible.
