JONESBORO, Ark. – Jonesboro police hope to solve a notable crime from the weekend in the next few days.
In a letter sent to the media by JPD Thursday afternoon, Detective Keri Varner said the Turtle Creek Pawn Shop burglary from the weekend was still a “very active investigation that is going on.”
“There are some promising leads that have surfaced and hopefully, it will be solved in the coming days,” Varner wrote. “There is nothing more at this time in the investigation.”
Criminals backed a vehicle into the front of the pawn shop and stole thousands in goods during the weekend theft.
