PARAGOULD, Ark. — A Paragould suspect faces a felony domestic battery charge after officers said a victim was injured with a bathroom mirror and pieces of a broken vase.

Walter Kimble faces one count of third-degree domestic battering, a Class D felony, according to a probable cause affidavit filed in Greene County District Court.

Officers responded Aug. 23 to a report of active domestic violence. When they arrived, officers noticed a bleeding injury on the right side of the victim’s face, the affidavit states.

The victim told officers Kimble slammed the victim’s face into a bathroom mirror before using shards from a broken vase to cut the victim’s face.

Investigators reported Kimble was previously convicted of third-degree domestic battering in 2024. That conviction within the past five years elevated the latest allegation to a Class D felony, according to the affidavit.

A judge found probable cause and set bond at $150,000 surety. Conditions of Kimble’s release include no contact with the victim or others involved in the case, no possession of weapons and compliance with ankle-monitor requirements.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
