PARAGOULD, Ark. — A Paragould man is accused of four counts of rape involving a victim under 14-year-old, according to an affidavit for an arrest warrant in Greene County District Court.
Steele Kohle Ipock, 30, is named as the potential defendant in four Class Y felony counts. The affidavit lists July 28 as the date of the alleged offenses.
Paragould police received a report Aug. 11 from the Arkansas Child Abuse Hotline alleging Ipock had raped the victim.
During an interview with Arkansas State Police Crimes Against Children investigators, the child alleged Ipock forced the child to perform oral sex on three occasions. The child said he also raped them during the final incident, according to the affidavit.
The child told investigators they had fears of a pregnancy.
Paragould police Detective Lt. Jack Hailey signed the affidavit.
Ipock was arrested on August 21. Jail records show a bond of $1 million.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
