JONESBORO, Ark. – Another big announcement was released by Haag Brown on Monday.
The old Coca-Cola property is transitioning from clothing store to technology company campus. Haag Brown Commercial is excited to announce a free standing Smoothie King will be added to the project. The new food retailer will be located along Highland Drive between the Highland Square Shopping Center and the technology building.
Smoothie King is dedicated to making a healthier more active lifestyle both nutritious and delicious. Since 1973, they’ve been creating custom blends and preparing each smoothie to fuel a unique purpose.
Smoothie King franchise owner Junior Das has a passion for helping others reach their goals and is excited about sharing the concept’s vision.
“We endeavor to bring what the people of Jonesboro want,” Das said. “As many of us are striving to live healthier, more active lives, it is a struggle to find nutritional food options in our market. Smoothie King will fill that gap by offering healthy, great tasting meal replacement smoothies.”
The 1,300 square foot building will face Highland Drive and feature a drive through.
“Although it is not the largest project we will announce this year, it will be one that changes my personal patterns,” stated Haag Brown Commercial Principal, Joshua Brown. “Jonesboro does not have a restaurant focused solely on smoothies. Being healthy is big right now and Smoothie King is one of the leaders in that category. I’m also excited that the restaurant will be a free-standing unit with a drive-thru. Sometimes Smoothie King is found within in-line strip centers without a drive thru. This one will be much easier to access in and out quickly.”
Construction will begin at the end of February and the restaurant is expected to open in the Spring or Summer of 2017.
