BALD KNOB, Ark. – A Searcy man was shot in the chest and killed and another White County man is accused of murder.
Around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, the White County Dispatch Center received a 911 call reporting gunshots fired on Barber Road in Bald Knob. The White County Sheriff’s Deputies immediately responded to the location and found Michael Gimondo, 27 of Searcy, shot in the chest. He died at the scene.
Joshua Curl, 33, a Bald Knob, was arrested at the scene and is being held at the White County Detention Center on a $150,000.00 bond for the charge of second degree murder.
Curl has a White County Circuit Court date of March 7 at 9 AM.
This is an ongoing investigation with the filing of formal charges to come by White County Prosecuting Attorney Becky McCoy.
