PORTIA, Ark. – A call regarding a possible bomb in an apartment has authorities in Lawrence County converging in Portia on Black Friday.
Lawrence County Dispatch received the call before 11 a.m. A resident at an apartment complex at 102 Church Street in Portia said a voicemail from someone saying a bomb was in the apartment.
Residents were being vacated from their homes and moved to a nearby church parking lot.
AET, Medic One, and Portia Fire Department along with Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department have all responded to the scene.
