LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ark. — Shawn Lynette Russell, 50, of Walnut Ridge was killed and the driver was injured when their off-road vehicle left the roadway and overturned at 2:09 p.m. on Sept. 25, 2026, according to a preliminary Arkansas State Police summary.
The summary states the vehicle, listed as a 2025 Kawasaki Ridge Crew and designated Vehicle 1, was traveling north on Lawrence 507 Road when it skidded off the left side and overturned in the ditch near the intersection with Lawrence 504 Road. Weather was reported as clear and the road surface as dry.
The summary omits the driver's identity. DEP Chris Carter, 111, is listed as the investigating officer and Lawrence County is listed as the agency in the Arkansas State Police preliminary report.
