RAVENDEN, Ark. – Repairs are coming to the railroad crossing in Ravenden next week.
This news is according to State Representative-elect Fran Cavenaugh, who said she spoke to Arkansas Highway Department personnel Thursday and they confirmed that Burlington Northern will be doing repairs to the crossing next week.
They will be laying down asphalt and patching, Cavenaugh said. This is a temporary fix.
“Burlington Northern needs to submit in writing to the Arkansas Highway Department their plan for the final repair,”Cavenaugh said. “The plan should detail their plans for rerouting traffic on Highway 63 during the repairs. I will continue to work with both the Arkansas Highway Department and Burlington Northern to move the final repair along. When we work together, we accomplish more.”
