JONESBORO, Ark. – When you return from vacation to a crime scene, it’s like finding a different home from the one you left behind and a woman just fell victim to burglars in this very fashion in Jonesboro.

The report was taken at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday at the 1100-block of Cartwright Street. The victim, 22, said she had gone out of town on vacation on Sept. 29 and returned to find her home burglarized, with several valuable items stolen.

The stolen goods included a 50-inch JVC flat screen, a 40-inch JVC flat screen, a Playstation 4, and a sound bar. The victim reported the items were recently purchased from Aaron’s Furniture Store. The 50-inch TV’s serial number is LT-50E560AAR. The 40-inch TV’s is LT-40E560AAR and the PS4’s serial number is MB722987788.

Although the back door was unlocked, the victim said she didn’t think she left it that way. The officer took photos of footprints near the back door.

If you come across these items or can help police find the thief, call Crimestoppers at 935-7867.
