Police Bust Alleged Credit Card Thief Involved in Criminal Enterprise

PARAGOULD, Ark. – A suspect is facing a number of felony charges after an alleged scheme involving the theft of credit and debit cards.

On March 16, 2024, a victim reported the theft of their wallet from their vehicle to the Paragould Police Department. The wallet contained multiple credit and debit cards.

Later on, the victim learned of their cards being used at a local business. Only one card was processed, with the suspect spending $1,013.14. Authorities obtained surveillance footage from the business. In the PC affidavit, police reported the footage showed Sheneice Robinson and a co-defendant using victims’ credit and debit cards at the self-checkout. A fourth card belonging to a victim’s late mother-in-law was also used unsuccessfully at a local ATM by a third accomplice, the affidavit says.

An investigation revealed the co-defendants and accomplices were linked to multiple similar cases in neighboring jurisdictions as part of an ongoing criminal enterprise dating back to 2023, the affidavit alleges.

During interviews with police, the defendants were read their rights and made incriminating statements, according to the affidavit. Robinson was identified by a co-defendant and also identified by her probation officer in Texas. Law enforcement in Pulaski County also confirmed a distinct tattoo on Robinson which was captured on local surveillance.

Sheneice Robinson, is charged with breaking or entering, a Class D felony, five counts of theft of property, all Class D felonies, and engaging in a continuing criminal gang, organization, or enterprise, a Class C felony.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

  1. One thing I notice recently is a lot of transient crime. People from Jonesboro hitting victims in Walnut Ridge and Hoxie, people from out of town (and state) in Jonesboro busts. Do people just roam around looking for victims? How do they get transported from one place to another since a lot don’t seem to have cars, except stolen ones.

What do you think?
