JONESBORO, Ark. — The Family Crisis Center will bring Cajun-inspired food, auctions and other activities to Jonesboro this fall during a fundraiser supporting survivors across Northeast Arkansas.
CajunFest will be held from 6-10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, at Harmony Gardens, 4517 E. Parker Road.
The event will feature unlimited Cajun-inspired food and drinks, live and silent auctions, a raffle and a donation drive. Tickets are $100 per person, and sponsorship opportunities are available.
Proceeds will benefit the Family Crisis Center, which has served Northeast Arkansas for 40 years. The organization provides shelter, advocacy and other services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
Services include safe shelter, daily meals, trauma counseling, mental health therapy, legal advocacy and forensic exams.
“Every ticket purchased and every sponsorship pledged helps sustain critical services for survivors across Northeast Arkansas,” Family Crisis Center Executive Director Casey Kidd said.
Kidd said donor support helps survivors move from victimization toward empowerment while supporting efforts to build a safer community.
Tickets and additional information are available at neafamilycrisiscenter.org or by calling 870-897-4033.
