JONESBORO, Ark. — A Blytheville suspect was arrested after investigators said Facebook photos showed him posing with guns that were later matched to firearms recovered in another arrest.
Cykice Deshawn Stewart, 23, of Blytheville, had a warrant signed for his arrest on a charge of possession of a firearm by certain persons. Bond was set at $75,000 cash or surety Wednesday by Judge Barbara Halsey after Stewart’s arrest.
According to the probable cause affidavit, Agent T. Huff recovered two guns May 1, 2026, during an arrest at Cedar Heights Drive. The guns included a Smith & Wesson SD40 with a black rubber grip sleeve and a unique black tactical light, and an American Tactical Alpha Max AR-15 pistol with a green receiver set and a 60-round extended magazine.
The affidavit said both guns were configured in a way that made them easily identifiable in a photo.
During the investigation, Huff reviewed the Facebook account of Stewart, who the affidavit said is a convicted felon and on active felony probation. Huff found a post from April 26, 2026, with five photos attached.
The photos showed Stewart sitting on a counter with three guns, according to the affidavit. Two of the guns were identified as the guns seized in the May 1 arrest through unique identifiers, the affidavit said.
Huff was able to determine the Facebook account belonged to Stewart by finding his birthday in the posts and running him through ACIC, according to the affidavit. His driver’s license photo matched the person shown in the Facebook photos.
The affidavit said Huff also contacted Stewart’s probation officer and shared the Facebook photos with him. The probation officer confirmed the person in the photos was Stewart.
After the guns in the Facebook post were confirmed to be real and functioning, a warrant was requested for Stewart’s arrest.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
