Blytheville Detectives Recover Multiple Stolen Vehicles, Equipment Across Three States

Quick recovery of multiple stolen items

BLYTHEVILLE, Ark. — On October 20, 2025, Detectives with the Blytheville Police Department were notified by Dyer County Tennessee Sheriff’s Office in reference to two stolen vehicles. Dyer County Deputies located a Chevrolet Silverado with a gooseneck trailer disabled on the side of the roadway that was stolen from the Blytheville area. Dyer County Deputies also advised that a red Chevrolet Silverado, 22’ bumper pull trailer, and a Case skid steer were stolen from Dyer County.

Detectives later apprehended Josh Harrington (42, Blytheville) in connection with the reported thefts in both Blytheville and Dyer County. Detectives were able to locate the red Chevrolet Silverado, and after an extensive search, was also able to locate the Case skid steer in the Yarbro area.

During the course of the investigation, Detectives also learned of a stolen Ford F-250 that was taken from a local business in Blytheville. Information was passed along to surrounding counties and states. Caruthersville Police Department later located the stolen Ford F-250 in their jurisdiction.

The Blytheville Police Department would like to thank the Mississippi County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division, Dyer County Tennessee Sheriff’s Office, and Caruthersville Missouri Police Department for their vital role in solving these cases.

Charges are pending for Josh Harrington and his accomplice, John Chandler (38, Blytheville), for their involvement in all three thefts.

Detectives are asking the public to be on the lookout for a black 22’ 2022 Barlow Trailer with a wood deck, that is believed to still be in the Blytheville area.
