BROOKLAND, Ark. — Residents will soon have local access to a new full-service medical clinic and pharmacy as ARcare prepares to open its first location in the city, a press release from Haag Brown Commercial announced Wednesday.
The facility will be built on a 1.75-acre site behind Jordan’s Kwik Stop and across from Harps on Brookland School Road. Construction is expected to begin soon.
ARcare officials said the project has been more than a decade in the making. The organization had been seeking the right opportunity to expand to Brookland, which has seen rapid population growth and commercial development in recent years. Until now, many residents have traveled to neighboring cities for routine medical visits or urgent needs.
“We’re thrilled to have secured land in Brookland for a future ARcare development that will bring essential healthcare services closer to home,” said Andrew Fraser, ARcare’s assistant vice president of corporate real estate. “This wouldn’t have been possible without the guidance and partnership of Haag Brown Commercial Real Estate—we’re grateful for their help in making this vision a reality for the Brookland community.”
ARcare operates clinics in Arkansas, Mississippi, and Kentucky, providing care regardless of income, insurance status, or background.
The real estate transaction was handled by Haag Brown’s Mason Coy and Nathan Eller, who credited the City of Brookland for its role in supporting the project. Planned infrastructure improvements along Brookland School Road are expected to improve accessibility as the area develops into a hub for community services.
