Jonesboro City Attorney’s Office Relocates After Justice Complex Closure

JONESBORO, Ark. – The Jonesboro City Attorney’s Office has officially relocated following the temporary closure of the Jonesboro Justice Complex on June 27, 2025, due to structural safety concerns related to a failing roof rafter.

The City Attorney’s Office is now located on the 1st floor of the Jonesboro Municipal Building, 300 S. Church Street, occupying the former offices of the City’s Human Resources Department. Human Resources is now located on the 3rd floor of the same building.

To ensure continuity of services and accessibility for the public, the City Attorney’s Office would like to remind residents that it offers downloadable affidavit forms on the City’s official website: http://www.jonesboro.org/138/City-Attorney

For those unable to access forms online, physical copies of affidavits may be picked up at the following locations:

· Jonesboro Municipal Building – 300 S. Church Street

· Jonesboro Police Department – 1001 S. Caraway Road

· Craighead County District Court – 603 Madison Street

Please note: Completed affidavits can only be returned to:

· Jonesboro Municipal Building, 300 S. Church Street

· Jonesboro Police Department, 1001 S. Caraway Road

To streamline the process and ensure timely response, residents are strongly encouraged to submit affidavits online whenever possible.
