Troopers Arrest Minnesota Man for Sexual Assault After Traffic Stop

BALD KNOB, Ark. — On Wednesday, February 26, 2025, Arkansas State Police (ASP) Troopers conducted a traffic stop on U.S. 67 that led to the arrest of Landen Valiant, 21, of Mora, Minnesota, on felony charges of Fourth-Degree Sexual Assault.

The traffic stop occurred around 1:30 p.m. when Troopers pulled over a 2015 Audi A6 for a traffic violation. The vehicle contained two occupants: Valiant and an underaged girl from White County. Valiant told investigators he met the girl on a social media messaging app in 2024 and met her in person two months ago.

The Arkansas Department of Human Services, Division of Children & Family Services responded to the traffic stop and coordinated services for the child.

ASP Special Agents recovered sexual and unlawful content on Valiant’s electronic device.

Troopers arrested Valiant and transported him to the White County Detention Center for booking.

The investigation is ongoing.
