BLYTHEVILLE, Ark. — A man is facing a charge of rape after a joint investigation between authorities in Blytheville and Arkansas State Police.
Daniel Thompson Jr., 37, of Blytheville, was arrested Thursday and charged with rape following a collaborative investigation by the Blytheville Police Department, the Arkansas State Police Crimes Against Children Division, and the Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigations Division.
Authorities said no further details about the case or the victims would be released due to the sensitive nature of the allegations.
A temporary bond of $500,000 was set for Thompson. He is scheduled to appear in Blytheville District Court on Monday, Jan. 27.
Jail records show prosecutors are also petitioning the court to revoke his probationary status.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
