At 4:10 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 27, JPD was dispatched to the 1900 block of Winesap Road to take a report about a stolen vehicle. Officers met with a woman who had last seen her white 2015 Toyota Highlander at 10 p.m. the night before, the report said. Around noon, she realized the vehicle was missing. The vehicle was described with no damage, no stickers, and no front plates.
Police reviewed the case on Monday, Dec. 30, and placed it in inactive status, pending further developments.
