Man Accused of Stealing Over $1,200 in Games from Walmart

JONESBORO, Ark. – A man is facing a felony theft charge after his weekend arrest for allegedly stealing videogames from Walmart.

Police were dispatched before noon on June 1 to Walmart on Parker Road in Jonesboro. There, loss prevention had detained a man who allegedly tried to steal around 16 different Nintendo Switch games.

The report estimated the value of the stolen merchandise to be $1,220.

Justin L. Lucy, 38, of Jonesboro, was arrested for felony theft, greater than $1,000 but less than $5,000. His next court date is set for July 26.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
