PARAGOULD, Ark. – Authorities are continuing their efforts at combating illegal controlled substances in Greene County, with several affidavits released this week detailing recent drug arrests.
On May 27, Paragould Police Department Patrolman Joseph Rice responded to a shoplifting call at Walmart Supercenter. The officer arrested Dakota Allen Garrison for theft. During a search, he located a glass meth pipe in a bag possessed by Garrison. A small corner bag was also found with two grams of meth. The affidavit says Garrison has prior drug convictions and now faces felony possession charges for the meth and paraphernalia, along with a misdemeanor theft charge. The judge set his bond at $25,000.
On May 28, agents with Arkansas Community Corrections conducted a probation search on North 6th Street in Paragould, the listed residence for April Gardener. The PC affidavit says that during the search, officers located 0.7 grams of meth, 9 grams of hydrocodone pills, and a glass pipe used for inhaling methamphetamine. Gardener has prior drug convictions and now faces felony possession charges for this incident. Her bond was set at $25,000.
On May 28, Corporal Christopher Wynn was dispatched to W. Dennington in reference to a welfare check. While on the scene, a probation search was conducted of Cordarylo Synder. Police reported finding 0.7 grams of meth and two glass pipes with residue. Snyder faces felony possession charges and his bond was set at $15,000.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
