Heber Springs Woman Accused of Involving Juvenile in Sexual Conduct

CLEBURNE COUNTY, Ark. – A Heber Springs woman faces allegations that she involved an underage person in inappropriate sexual conduct.

On January 10, 2024, a report was filed with the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office alleging that two people were in communication through various social media platforms discussing sexual relations between those two adults, and a juvenile female.

The report alleged that inappropriate photos of the juvenile had been sent back and forth between the two along with the conversations.  Through the course of the investigation, probable cause was developed for one of the involved parties.

On January 11, 2024, Teri Adams, 41 of Heber Springs was arrested and booked into the Cleburne County Jail on a $50,000 bond for one count of Internet Stalking of a Child and one count of A Parent Who Permits a Child to Engage in Sexually Explicit Conduct.

The investigation is still ongoing and additional arrests/charges are expected.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
