
JONESBORO, Ark. – Last week, a Jonesboro man found himself under arrest on drug-related charges after the Jonesboro Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit received a tip regarding his activities.
The arrest unfolded between 5:30 PM and 6:15 PM in the 300-block of West Oak Avenue. According to the report, investigators initially received information about suspected drug activity at 2617 N. Church Street but eventually located the individual in question at a different address on West Oak.
James Seymore, a 43-year-old resident of Jonesboro, was the individual in question. Police made contact with him, and during the encounter, officers discovered him in possession of methamphetamine. Notably, a flashlight used for concealing methamphetamine was also found in his possession. Authorities logged 7.29 grams of suspected crystal meth into evidence.
As a result of the findings, Seymore was placed under arrest for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Additionally, he faced multiple active warrants, including a felony warrant and an out-of-town warrant.
