JONESBORO, Ark. – UHaul in Jonesboro reported several vehicle thefts on the morning of August 9, with each incident involving different individuals renting vehicles and then failing to return them.

The first of the reported thefts involved a 22-year-old white female suspect. She had rented a white 2017 Ford Econoline F150 and failed to bring it back as per the rental agreement.

The second case was similar but involved a 33-year-old black male suspect who rented a 2013 Ford Econoline F150. Like the prior case, he too did not return the vehicle.

The third report centered around another 22-year-old suspect, this time a black female, who rented a 2013 GMC Savanna Van and subsequently did not return it.

Although the suspect information was made available to law enforcement, specific details were masked from public view due to investigative status.

In Arkansas, stealing a vehicle valued at $25,000 or more constitutes a Class B felony. Offenders found guilty can face prison sentences ranging from five to twenty years. On top of potential incarceration, defendants might also face hefty fines up to $15,000.

Authorities urge residents and businesses to remain vigilant and report any sightings of the stolen vehicles or suspicious activities related to them.
