JONESBORO, Ark. – Jonesboro police responded to several shootings over the weekend, including an incident that occurred in the early hours of Saturday, July 22, on the 400-block of Garden Manor Drive.
According to the report, an unidentified suspect fired at a victim around 1 a.m. on Saturday. A minor was also present during the incident. Gunfire damaged a door, but there were no apparent injuries.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’5″ in height. He is believed to have been driving a passenger car, possibly a gray or dark gray Camaro.
Detectives were actively working the case as of Saturday morning. If you have any information which might assist police, you are urged to contact authorities.
The perpetrator, once apprehended, will face serious felony charges. These include a terroristic act, aggravated assault, and first-degree endangering the welfare of a minor.
