Jonesboro Business Faces Thousands in Losses after Forgery Incident

JONESBORO, Ark. – A Jonesboro business suffered a forgery that cost thousands, according to a report filed this week with the Jonesboro Police Department (JPD).

The incident occurred between July 5 and July 12 at Rig Rite US, located at 2500 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Jonesboro. The report indicates a suspect forged a check from Focus Bank belonging to the company, in the amount of $4,252.17.

The report mentions a female suspect, but her identifiers and most other details remain concealed due to the ongoing investigation.

The suspect faces a second-degree felony forgery charge, a Class C felony that carries a minimum sentence of three years.
