Updated: Several Events Planned in NEA for 2023 Independence Day Celebration

JONESBORO, Ark. – Numerous events are planned for the 4th of July holiday in Northeast Arkansas!

In Jonesboro…

4th Fest — East Arkansas Broadcaster’s fireworks extravaganza — will be on Monday, July 3rd at 9 PM at Joe Mack Campbell Park.

Then, their Red, White, and Blue Color Run event will be on Tuesday, July 4 at Joe Mack. Registration is at 8 AM. Run (or walk!) at 9 AM. $20 for adults, $10 for kids 12 and under and proceeds will benefit Ag for Autism.


Freedom Fest — Jonesboro Radio Group’s fireworks spectacular — will be on Tuesday, July 4th at 9:30 on South Stadium at the Southside Softball Complex. Parking assistance provided by engineers from the Arkansas Army National Guard.

You will see nothing else like it in the state, according to the Jonesboro Radio Group, and all of it is set to music broadcast on their line-up of radio stations:

MOR Media radio stations will present a FREE 2023 Paragould Fireworks Show, happening Tuesday, July 4th at the Rotary Softball Complex in Paragould.

Gates open to the public at 6:30pm. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and pick your prime spot to watch the fireworks. Coolers with food and drink are allowed, but alcohol is not. There will be plenty of trash cans available, please dispose of your trash properly.

Fireworks will begin around 9:30pm, set to music on all three MOR Media radio stations – 107.1 Jack FM, Jill at 99.3, and iRock 103.7
