JONESBORO, Ark. – A police report filed with JPD says that a trucker made off with a sizeable haul from a local truck stop after an alleged shoplifting incident.
It happened between 2:30 AM and 2:45 AM on May 3 at Love’s Truck Stop, 5101 East Parker Road in Jonesboro. Several items were reportedly taken: a Garmin GPS unit ($900), a TND tablet ($700), and three CB microphones with a total value of $116.
The suspect was described as a Black/African American male, age 40 to 50, around 5’10” and 200 pounds. The suspect was bald. He was driving a blue semi tractor pulling an enclosed trailer with “BEST CHOICE” and food photos on the side.
Because the total value of the stolen property was between $1,000 and $5,000, the case is under investigation as a felony theft.
