New construction home hit by burglary

JONESBORO, Ark. – A home was broken into and the electrical wiring stripped out of the walls last week in Jonesboro, a report said.

It happened between 5 PM on April 27 and 8 AM April 28 at the 400-block of Easy Street. Police took the report Friday afternoon. Sometime during the night, a suspect cut the electrical wiring out of the walls. This included wiring for an electric car charger and general outlet wires. As much as $5,000 in wiring was estimated to have been stolen.

No suspects were known at the time of the report’s release.
