Second road rage incident involving a gun reported this week

JONESBORO, Ark. – An incident involving tempers flaring while on the road escalated to a gun being pulled, a report with JPD said.

It is the second such incident police have investigated this week.

It happened at about 6:25 PM on April 18 at the intersection of King Street and Red Wolf Boulevard, the report said. It was there that a suspect pointed a gun at the victim, the report alleges, during an incident described as road rage in the report.

No injuries or arrests were reported.

The suspect was described as a white male, 18-25, driving a blue 2005 Ford Mustang.

The incident could constitute a felony charge of aggravated assault if police pursue charges.
