JONESBORO, Ark. – Police responded to a challenging call Wednesday in Jonesboro.
It happened between 12:40 and 1 PM Wednesday afternoon at the 3700-block of Kristi Lake Drive. Jonesboro police responded in reference to gunshots heard.
Police arrived on the scene and interviewed both victims, who were also simultaneously both suspects: a female 19, and male, 21. The two were boyfriend/girlfriend, according to the report. But they got into an argument that continued to escalate.
At some point, it turned into a physical altercation, the report says. It continued to escalate from there.
Gunshots were fired. However, both of the individuals claimed it was the other person who fired the shots. The investigative narrative was masked but it did not appear police could reliably determine who was at fault. No arrests were listed in the report either.
