A man faces serious charges on allegations he gave a minor drugs and raped her.
On August 30, officers with the JPD Street Crimes Unit arrested Lee Edward Wille on a bench warrant for rape, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and introducing a controlled substance into another’s body.
Since July 15, 2022, officers with JPD’s Internet Crimes Against Children division have been actively working on this allegation of rape, a release on social media said. Officers interviewed the juvenile victim who stated that she was given Methamphetamine on numerous occasions by the named suspect, who she said had sexual intercourse with her numerous times. He also encouraged the juvenile to run from her home to stay with him.
Wille appeared before the judge on Wednesday. A $500,000 cash-only bond requirement was set. He was booked into jail at the Craighead County Detention Center.
