Jonesboro police were investigating a shooting late Saturday in the north side of Jonesboro.
Shortly after 9 PM, dispatch was notified that a female had been shot near the intersection of French and Bradley, police said in a release posted to social media.
The victim was treated on scene until EMS arrived and took over medical care. The injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening and she was transported to an area hospital.
Police are searching for a person of interest, the latest update said.
