One person was arrested Tuesday after a shooting that injured one in Jonesboro.
Emergency crews were on the scene of an afternoon shooting in the 3100 block of Commerce Drive, JPD said in a release to social media.
One person suffered injuries during an altercation brought on by an argument, police said. Officers began rendering aid on scene. EMS arrived and took over care.
The victim is being airlifted to a Memphis hospital. His condition was unknown to the press as of publication.
The suspect has been taken into custody, police said.
