Police in Jonesboro are looking for an alleged home invasion and shooting suspect from earlier in the day on Thursday.
Around 9:30 AM, the Jonesboro Police Department said on Facebook officers were dispatched to a home in the 1800 block of West College Boulevard for a “shots fired” call. Police were told the suspect entered the home and tried to stab a relative with a knife. He then obtained a firearm and proceeded to use it. The victim did not sustain any injuries during the incident.
Police are currently searching for Johnathan Camara, 30, of Jonesboro. He is considered to be armed and dangerous. If you know his whereabouts, police say to call 911 or the JPD desk sergeant at 870-935-5657.
