Gunshots echoed across the city for the second night this week as a shots heard call was reported Tuesday night in Jonesboro.
Around 7:25 PM, officers responded to a shots heard call in the area of Belt and Melrose.
In a release, police said a vehicle of interest was spotted at Fisher and Johnson and failed to yield at an attempted stop by officers. A short time later the vehicle was discovered in a grassy area at Belt and Greensboro.
The female suspect was taken into custody.
No officers were injured during this incident, police noted.
