Man facing sexual indecency charge in Fayetteville arrested in Jonesboro

The Jonesboro Police Department announced the arrest of a suspect on Tuesday from the previous week. He is being charged with one count of sexual indecency with a child.

On September 29th, a detective with the Fayetteville Police Department contacted JPD’s Internet Crimes Against Children Division asking for assistance with an investigation out of their city.

We were advised that the alleged suspect had relocated back to Jonesboro.

JPD ICAC Detective Bill Brown contacted the man and he willingly came to the station to be questioned by Det. Brown about his involvement with the FPD case, police said in the release posted to social media.

After this interview, an arrest warrant was issued.

On December 16, 2021, members of the SWAT Team and Street Crimes Unit arrested Travont’lasean Henry. He was first taken to the police station. He was then transported to the Craighead County Jail for extradition to Washington County. He is facing a “Sexual Indecency With A Child” charge in Northwest Arkansas.
