Police seek public’s help identifying bank robber

Wednesday Bank Robbery in Jonesboro Caught on Video

Authorities in Jonesboro are still looking for a bank robbery suspect following a theft Wednesday afternoon in Jonesboro.

It happened at about 3 PM Wednesday at Centennial Bank on Southwest Drive. An unknown suspect entered the bank. He appears to wander around for a moment before approaching a a cashier. The suspect hands the bank employee a note. At that point, the footage was edited by police, but the teller hands him money and the man quickly leaves the bank.

The suspect is seen wearing a light-blue disposable mask, a ball-cap with white mesh back, sunglasses, a dark grey or blue (or similar colored) zip-up hoodie.

JPD said in a release posted to social media that the suspect(s) left in a 2015-2018 model silver GMC pickup truck and headed south on Southwest Drive.

Police are offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest of this suspect. If you know this suspect or his whereabouts, call CrimeStoppers at 870-935-STOP (7867). You will be entitled to a $500 CASH reward through CrimeStoppers of Jonesboro. Tips are anonymous.
