JPD investigates shooting; one dead

Police worked a deadly shooting overnight in Jonesboro, a release said.

Jonesboro police were dispatched to the 700 block of Strawn Avenue shorty after midnight in reference to a shooting.

Officers arrived and discovered a deceased male with a gunshot wound.

The investigation is ongoing, a release said.
