Vaccination Clinic Postponed as Campus Responds to Severe Winter Weather

JONESBORO – The Moderna vaccine clinics for Arkansas State University employees set for Tuesday, Feb. 16, are both postponed due to significant snowfall today. Employees should look for emails later today from their respective pharmacies to reschedule appointments.

Based on current forecasts, A-State anticipates continuing with remote learning for Tuesday, and all academic buildings remaining closed.

Snowfall continues to accumulate on campus today. The single-digit temperatures and below wind chill factors make outdoor activities dangerous.

Facilities Management personnel are working on campus to mitigate accumulations of snow, but on-campus students are reminded they need to be careful when walking between buildings.

Campus dining facilities at Acansa Dining Hall will operate on brunch hours today including some areas of the food court in the student union.
