JPD makes arrest in August 2020 murder

Jonesboro Police made an afternoon arrest in a 2020 murder case on Wednesday, January 21, 2021.

The press release said detectives received information that led them to the arrest of 19-year-old Gabriel Walton, for the murder of Ronald Voyles, 57 of Jonesboro.

Officers responded to the 3900 block of Kaye Lane on August 29, 2020, for an Unattended Death. Detectives quickly ruled the death a homicide.

Walton is being held at the Craighead County Detention Center where he will await his Probable Cause Hearing.
