Man shot in the knee; Series of burglaries; More reports released Tuesday and Wednesday by JPD

Reports released Tuesday

A man was arrested Monday for allegedly threatening to kill others on Facebook live. Between about 10 AM and 11:30 AM at the 1000-block of Scott Street, Clintell Cothran, 53, of Jonesboro, was arrested.

A report at about 12:48 PM Monday afternoon alleged that a suspect held a victim against her will and cut her hand with a knife at the 2900-block of Phillips Drive. No arrests noted in the report.

A victim was shot Monday afternoon while property was stolen, according to a report. Between 4:20 PM and 5 PM at the 200-block of Royale Drive, a 39-year-old male was shot in the left thigh with the bullet exiting on the left side of the knee.

A residential burglary and theft of a safe took place between 1 PM and 4:30 PM at the 600-block of West Cherry Ave.

A residential burglary was reported between about 8 AM and 6 PM at a masked location in Jonesboro where a suspect broke a window and stole two phones.

A residential burglary report indicated an incident between 8:50 AM and 9 PM at the 3400-block of Meador.

A residential burglary where a gun was stolen was reported at the 900-block of Culberhouse Street between noon Monday and 1 AM Tuesday.

Reports released Wednesday

As previously reported, a bank robbery happened Tuesday morning at Bancorpsouth, 1901 West Parker Road in Jonesboro. Between 9:10 AM and 9:40 AM, an unidentified African American male suspect stole an undisclosed amount of money from a teller register and vault.

A woman was arrested for hitting a man in the head with a bat around 4 PM at the 300-block of North Caraway in Jonesboro.

A trailer valued at an estimated $9,000 was stolen from a job site between 10/31 and Tuesday at the 4200-block of Harrisburg Road. It was a black 14 foot Bix Tex dump trailer.

A residential burglary reported Tuesday happened between 10/31 and 11/3 at the 3500-block of Rustic Cv.

An aggravated residential burglary was reported after 11 PM Tuesday night at the 900-block of Scott Street.

Two people were arrested Wednesday morning in an incident that involved someone being struck with a car and someone who was pregnant also being hit. Shortly after 7 PM Wednesday at the 1000-block of South Caraway Road, Charles Hardaway, 32, and Nyisha Hardaway, 30, were both arrested.

  • Between Sunday night and Monday morning at 3100-Mead; Bryan Cruz, 20, of Jonesboro, was reported arrested
  • Reported on 10/28 at the 1400-block of Belt
  • Between 10/30 and 11/03 at the 6400-block of Taylors Chapel Lane
  • Between 1:50 PM and 5:15 PM at the 2800-block of Longview Drive
  • Around 5 PM at the 500-block of E. Highland Drive
  • Between 4:44 PM and 5:19 PM at the 4900-block of S. Culberhouse Street.
