Bank robbery Tuesday in Jonesboro

Police were pursuing a bank robbery suspect after an incident Tuesday morning in Jonesboro.

JPD was called to Bancorp South on Parker Rd at approximately 9:20am in regards to a “hold up” alarm. Officers responded to the bank within minutes and K9 units began a track from the bank heading south towards the woods.

Officers were still on scene at 11:15 AM.
