
Reports released Wednesday
A suspect stole a moneybox with over $1,000 inside from 2200-block of Una Street at a unit between Monday night and Tuesday morning.
An aggravated robbery was reported between 10 AM and 11 AM Tuesday at the 700-block of Brook Meadow. The report alleged a suspect pulled a gun on a victim and stole money – around $600. The report listed the suspect as a 29-year-old black male US citizen but no other details were visible.
Crooks broke into multiple vehicles on a car lot between September 5 and September 8, a report on Tuesday said. At least five vehicles were broken into and items stolen.
A residential burglary was reported on Tuesday, having happened between Sept. 4 and Sept. 8. A suspect reportedly entered a window at the 1900-block of West Oak and stole a large amount of tools (a felony amount).
A suspect faces numerous charges after fleeing an accident on foot that apparently involved a stolen vehicle. It happened Tuesday evening at the intersection of E. Johnson Avenue and Marion Berry. Collin Blake Miller, 25, of Jonesboro, was arrested.
A report filed around 6 PM Tuesday at the 900-block of Park Avenue indicated a Trump flag was stolen from an 81-year-old man. Three juveniles were reportedly involved.
Several instances of package thieves striking in Jonesboro have been reported.
The Tuesday night shooting at Cedar Heights was further detailed in a police report. One of the shooting victims had a laceration to the right hand. The other had wounds to the right and left thigh as well as left calf. Both victims were from West Memphis.
A stabbing was alleged late Tuesday at the 1400-block of Rains Street. The report said suspect two punched suspect one, and suspect one stabbed suspect two in response. A 17-year-old male was arrested in the report.
Reports released Thursday
- A vehicle break-in was reported Wednesday morning at the 100-block of Melrose involving a gun being stolen from the vehicle.
- An attempted vehicle break-in was reported overnight Tuesday/early Wednesday at the 3300-block of Caraway Commons
- A vehicle window was busted at the 1900-block of Cedar Heights sometime Wednesday morning
- A vehicle break-in was reported between Sept. 7 and Sept. 9 at the 3400-block of Sun Avenue.
The former Walnut Ridge mayor, J.R. Rogers, was a victim in a report filed Wednesday in Jonesboro. The crime report was the theft of a catalytic converter from a motor home at the 3700-block of East Highland Drive.
The Street Crimes Unit responded to the 2000-block of North Church Street Wednesday evening regarding a tip about the sale of drugs at a residence. Two individuals were arrested: Michael Trevino, 43, and Andrew Bell, 32. Marijuana, meth, and oxycodones were located.
An aggravated assault and residential burglary were both reported in the same incident Wednesday evening, around 9:15 PM, near the 100-block of Rogers Street. The call came in as a burglary in progress. Angel Nicole Phillip, 28, of Jonesboro, was arrested.
A residential burglary was reported between Tuesday evening and Wednesday night at the 400-block of Labaurne Street.
Two people were arrested following a domestic violence call at the 1200-block of North Patrick between midnight and 1:30 AM. Charges being investigated included felony aggravated assault.
Wow… Didn’t know that Jonesboro was so bad now! Maybe if more citizens Legally obtained a firearm and shot these dope heads, things would change for the better?
I hear ya, Jordan, but looks like everybody’s getting their guns stole. Jtown is worse every day, this don’t even list all the crimes going on and not getting prosecuted or even arrested.
