JONESBORO, Ark. – Police were investigating a possible murder Wednesday morning in Jonesboro.
The call came in a short time after 8 AM on Fisher Street, confirmed JPD’s Public Information Specialist Sally Smith. She told NEA Report that few details were available except she could confirm it was a homicide investigation. We later learned the deceased person was male.
JPD later made an arrest connected to the homicide of the yet-unidentified male. Around noon, officers apprehended Rosario Vela, 61 of Cash, AR. Vela will be held at the Craighead County Detention Center until his PC hearing.
