New NEA Baptist clinic Jonesboro locations announced

JONESBORO, Ark. – NEA Baptist announced plans to begin work on a new location for Pediatrics and Dermatology.  Both service lines will soon be offered at the first building project at The Reserve at NEA.

The development is an extension of the largest master-planned integrated health care campus in our trade area, a press release said. Through a partnership between NEA Baptist and Haag Brown Commercial Real Estate, “The Reserve at NEA will become a lifestyle focused medical development that is a virtual extension of the NEA Baptist Medical Campus.”

“Imagine stepping out of a busy hospital on a 70 degree day to make a lap around a beautifully landscaped walking trail, having lunch at a pavilion by the water, or spending time on the weekend throwing a football around in the open green-space. 🌳🌤 That’s what the Reserve at NEA is all about. Time spent outdoors is proven to increase happiness, reduce stress, and boost creativity. The focus of the development is on creating a relaxing, stress-free place for patients, employees, and their families to enjoy. This revolutionary project is more than a change of scenery, it is a change in life-style.” – Haag Brown Commercial Real Estate, via Facebook

Plans include nearly 12,000 sq. ft. for the new clinic space. The new site will house pediatricians Dr. MaryJoanne Umeora, Dr. Camille Chan, Tomorrow Potter, APRN, and Priscilla Fortner, APRN.  NEA Baptist recently signed Dr. Enid Burnett to lead the NEA Baptist Dermatology Clinic.

Access to the new location will be available through hospital drive, directly connecting to NEA Baptist Medical Campus, and is the first building in a multi-phase project which will continue to change the landscape at hilltop.

“We are proud to partner with Haag Brown as NEA Baptist’s next phase of growth builds on offering important medical care with convenient access for patients and their families. The Reserve at NEA will complement our goal of delivering healing in an environment that is a significant improvement from the stigma of institutional facilities of old”, said Sam Lynd, CEO of NEA Baptist.  Josh Brown, Haag Brown Principal had this to say about the lifestyle medical park, “Our office is located in this type of “lifestyle” office atmosphere. Our employees enjoy coming to work and we love being here. Our goal for the Reserve at NEA is the same— for employees and patients to enjoy their experience on the property.”

A groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for July 13 at 10:00 a.m. on the greenspace in the southeast corner of the NEA Baptist Medical Campus.

NEA Baptist Health System comprises NEA Baptist Clinic, NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital, and NEA Baptist Fowler Family Center for Cancer Care.  The 228-bed hospital offers cancer care, heart care through the Heart Center, labor and delivery services through the hospital’s Women’s Center, as well as a number of inpatient and outpatient services, emergency care, and surgical services including weight loss surgery, neurology, respiratory care, and pulmonary rehabilitation.
