JONESBORO, Ark. – Jonesboro Police have made an arrest in the afternoon homicide of a 30 year-old male, a release posted to Facebook says.
Police responded to the 500 block of Melrose around 2:40 p.m. in reference to a disturbance in which shots were fired. When they arrived, they found Robert Green lying on the ground with an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
CID began their investigation and developed a suspect.
Adrian Bellinger, a 19-year-old Jonesboro resident, was arrested. He is in custody at the Craighead County Detention Center awaiting his probable cause hearing.
