JONESBORO, Ark. – JPD was on scene of another shooting Saturday night in Jonesboro
Around 8 PM Saturday, the incident took place on State Street, across from Arkansas State University and off of Johnson Avenue.
A male victim was shot twice, once in the lower back and once in the leg, JPD reported. He was treated on scene and transported by EMS to a local hospital.
The detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division were on the scene working late.
A silver car was seen by witnesses leaving the area shortly after the shooting.
