Two Wednesday shootings rattle Jonesboro

JONESBORO, Ark. – More shootings sent police scrambling for clues Wednesday night in Jonesboro.

Around 8:45 PM Wednesday, October 16, police were dispatched to the area of Strawn and Vine in response to shots heard. It wasn’t long before a victim was located on Gee Street. He suffered a head wound and was transported to a nearby hospital but his injuries weren’t life-threatening, police said.

The suspects in this shooting are described as three black males.

Meanwhile, a separate gun shot victim showed up at another NEA hospital with a gunshot wound to his lower extremities. The victim stated that he received his injuries on Arch Street. Details were limited about that report.
