Holiday Grief Workshop to be hosted on October 24

JONESBORO, Ark. – NEA Baptist Center for Good Grief will be hosting the Holiday Grief Workshop on October 24th, 2019.

There are two sessions taking place on the same day. Participants can choose between the 9:00am-11:00am session or the 6:00pm-8:00pm session allowing participants to pick what time works best for them.  This event is free of charge and will be held at First National Bank located at 3500 E. Johnson Avenue, Jonesboro, AR. Registration is required due to limited seating, please register by calling 870-936-7719.


Participants can expect information, tips and conversations about grief and how to cope through the holidays. This workshop is available to anyone in our community that has experienced a loss, regardless of the type of loss and timeframe since the death. This workshop will be led by licensed therapist specifically trained in grief counseling.

The NEA Baptist Center for Good Grief is located at 1717 Executive Square in Jonesboro and offers free grief counseling and seminars to those who have lost a loved one.  Counseling is available to children, teens and adults through individual, family and group sessions. All services are free to the community, regardless of where they receive healthcare, and is made possible by the NEA Baptist Charitable Foundation.
